A toy and a stylish piece of furniture, ready to inspire imaginative play and enhance a corner of a child's room.
When we began the branding journey for GP Atelier, there was only an idea and a prototype at the home of Giulia Pessina, the founder. Her dream was to create a magical world for children through role-playing. This dream eventually took shape with the creation of four small market stands, each inspired by a different theme.
Brand Strategy. First, we identified the purpose and the values and of the product. We did an extensive market research, identified some gaps and some saturation areas. From there I was able to define the target audience and the positioning strategy.
Naming. The name had to reflect the founder’s vision so, I simply went for the founder’s name initials and then the name and the tagline was coined.
Visual Identity. In the second phase, we designed the logo (primary and secondary), defined all graphic elements, and started building the website and content. At this stage we also established the tone of voice. The copywriting had to be in English since the product was aimed at an international market.
